One of my New Year’s Resolutions for 2025 was to start taking place in at least one of the the weekly memes in the book blogging community, so better late than never right? I am not sure how often I’ll manage to keep up with it (hopefully it doesn’t go by the wayside like my monthly wrap-up posts), but I’m going to at least give it a try.
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
This week’s theme is 2024 Releases I Was Excited to Read but Still Haven’t Gotten To. Talk about asking for accountability! Luckily, I managed to write a post on my Most Anticipated Books of 2024, so that should make this prompt a little easier.

What is the Priority Level of these books?
For me, the first book on this list, War Lords of Wyrdwood, has the highest priority, as I still have an ARC of it that I need to read and review. I also read the beginning of The Scarlet Throne as a preview in one of my other Orbit books, and that really peaked my interest. I also saw that the sequel to A Feather so Black is releasing soon this year, so I wouldn’t mind digging into this first book soon. I’d also really like to get around to The Slain Divine because it’s the final book in The Vagrant Gods trilogy—I’m appalled that I haven’t gotten to it sooner. Relic of Ruins is a sequel and I probably don’t remember a whole lot of the first book, Empire of Exiles, so a necessary reread puts it lower on the priority list, as that’s just more of a commitment for me. The rest of the books, I hope to get to soon, but if I don’t at least I’ll probably be closer to the releases of the next books in the series, meaning I have a chance of remembering their content.
What books are on your TBR list for this year?
I have a bunch of series I want to start and binge but they are all either long books or long series so I’m starting with my ARCs and freebies and some library books. I own these series books for the most part so maybe in a few months I can make more progress.
The Tainted Cup is a huge favorite! I loved it so much – read it so I can hear your thoughts.

For me I’ve got a whole list of 2024 books I haven’t gotten too and hope to read this year. For example: The Lovely Dark, The Games Gods Play, Gilded Wings, and Bloodguard.

I saw The Tainted Cup on a lot of posts and tbh it could’ve been on mine as well but I had too many titles to choose from! 😅 I had Someone You Can Build A Nest In on my post today though! I hope you love all of these whenever you get to them ☺️

I have THE TAINTED CUP on my TTT list as well. I didn’t realize it was already on my TBR until I thought about adding it after I saw it on so many bloggers’ ‘best of 2024’ lists, haha. It’s not high priority for me either, though.
I can relate, sometimes I even buy the same book twice and then I realize I already own it. So many books, so little time, right? 😂
