Crockpot Chicken Alfredo

I know that a lot of people only get their crockpots out in the fall, but I love mine so much that I use it all year round! I mean, come on, what’s better than a home cooked meal that cooks itself? NOTHING!

And for this delicious recipe, you need less than 5 ingredients!

Ingredients for Chicken Alfredo:

  • 1 box of Fettuccine or Linguine noodles
  • 2 jars of Light Alfredo sauce (I buy whatever kind the grocery store has, but the Ragu pictured above is quite delicious.)
  • 4 frozen boneless skinless chicken breasts

Directions:

Spray crockpot liner with cooking spray. Place chicken breasts in bottom of crockpot. Pour two jars of Alfredo sauce on top. Cook either on high for 4 hours or on low for 8 (or whatever settings your crockpot has. This is a very forgiving recipe.) Once chicken is cooked through, cut chicken into chunks with food scissors or tear apart with forks. Follow package instructions to prepare noodles. Then drain. Put some noodles on your plate, then cover with chicken and sauce.  Enjoy!
