Grape Salad

 All right, I’ll admit that when I first heard the words “Grape Salad,” I was skeptical. But I tried one scoop and I was HOOKED. This is a dish that is perfect for picnics, holidays, and other gatherings. I even took it to a friend’s birthday party and soon the girls and even their husbands were asking for the recipe! It’s a good thing I always make a double batch, because it goes fast!

All you need for this recipe is some fresh grapes (I used green and red in this picture, but I’ve tried it with concord as well and it was just as delicious), sour cream, cream cheese, a dash of vanilla, and some brown sugar and chopped pecans for on top!

First, wash the grapes and remove them from the vine (this can be a bit tedious, but the end result is sooo worth it–trust me!). Mix together the sour cream and the cream cheese. Mix in the vanilla. Fold in the grapes. Pour in 9×13 casserole pan. Sprinkle with chopped pecans and brown sugar (I often substitute with 1/4 cup of Splenda Brown Sugar, but that is entirely your choice). And that’s all there is to it! Doesn’t it look pretty when it’s finished?

  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 8 oz sour cream
  • 1 lb red grapes
  • 1 lb green grapes
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  1. Mix together cream cheese, sour cream, and vanilla.
  2. Fold in grapes.
  3. Pour in 9×10 pan.
  4. Top with brown sugar and pecans.
