Monthly Wrap-Up: March 2022

Monthly Wrap-Up: March 2022

I’m a little late with my Monthly Wrap-Up for March. I usually aim to post my wrap up on the last post of the month, but I was too excited about my review of Bridgerton Season Two to hold off on positing that.

Wrap-up: Games

Dead by Daylight

Well, my addiction to this game that I hate to love and love to hate, has once again taken over my life. I’ve unfortunately made it to the highest rank this season as a survivor. I am not looking forward to a lot of the upcoming killer buffs.

Horizon Forbidden West

I promise I’m still making progress in Horizon Forbidden West. There’s just so much to do in this game and I’m determined to do it all.  I’m about 60% of the way to the platinum.

It Takes Two

I recently restarted and finally finished this game. It’s a miracle that I ever got back to it, as I said in my First Impressions : It Takes Two that I posted way back when, how obnoxious I found all of the characters. But the gameplay was really fun, and so was playing it with one of my best friends.

Wrap-up: Movies and Tv

I hope that one of these months I will get back into watching K-Dramas, but every time I open Netflix I’m too indecisive about which one to start watching and then pick up something else. I think the last K-drama I watched was It’s Okay to Not Be Okay.

The Book of boba Fett

Whoo, I actually finally finished The Book of Boba Fett. Apparently all I needed to do was get to the episodes focusing on the characters from The Mandalorian and it became much better. I really wasn’t a fan on the parts of the story with the titular character, who I never really found that interesting in the rest of Star Wars.

Bridgerton Season Two

Though I originally debated watching Bridgerton Season Two, for many reasons, I ended up binging the show in two sittings and even reviewing it. For more on my thoughts on the show, check out my review here.

Wrap-up: Books

So, I only managed to read five books in total in March, and they were all ARCs. Look for my review of Nettle & Bone this coming Tuesday! Though in my Monthly Wrap-Up for February, I expressed my desire to read the third book in The Wheel of Time series, I obviously didn’t get to it. Maybe in April, if I can control my reading habits.

I also made a book-related purchase in March that I’m pretty excited about. I backed Brandon Sanderson’s record-breaking Kickstarter and will be receiving physical, ebook, and audiobook copies of his four secret books next year! This was a really pricey endeavor, one which my bank immediately flagged as fraud, but I am excited not only to support one of my favorite author’s endeavors, but also to be a part of this revolution in the publishing world.

Wrap-up: Webtoons

In March, I did an entire post on all of the new webtoons I started reading. I’ve managed not to pick up any more of these quite yet, but as I’ve progressed too far in many series for the free daily updates to unlock, and I may end up picking up even more series.

What did your month of March look like? Did you pick up any new books or games or binge any new shows?
